Freeland and Auburn, very close to Midland. When my husband and I used to live in Bay City (then Essexville), we would go to Freeland and eat at a chinese restaurant. I think it was called Rodeicher's or something. Anyway, it's not there any more. We loved the restaurant and was sad to see it close up. Saginaw is getting closer and closer to you. I used to teach at a Christian elementary school in Saginaw (Grace Baptist Church).
